SuperFuzz wins the 2012 Academy of Art University Fall Film Festival

Winning the "Audience Choice Award",   I am completely thrilled that the audience enjoyed the film. So much work went into it. It really made me happy to hear the laughter and utter shock from the audience. I've always dreamed of entertaining people with a film.

I'm going to enter it on the state and national stage and see how it does there. Will it be victorious or will it fall short?? Only time will tell.

I look forward to my work in the future. I would like once again to entertain my audience with yet another creation.

Final review: Master's in Animation and Visual effects

I presented my short Film Super Fuzz during the final review yesterday and it finally got approved. I'll be receiving my diploma in a few months. Now I just have to fix all the bugs in the animation and make it even funnier and prep it for submission into the fall film festival. Its quite an entertaining piece.

Progress on Super Fuzz

I am amazed how much animation has been done in the course of 3 months. Mid March I didn't have a 3d animatic and now as of June 25th I'm currently moving into finishing second phase animation. So I had to make a 3d blocking animatic, redo the 3d blocking with some 1st phase animation, moved the first phase animation back to blocking because it wasn't good enough and now I am on 2nd phase.  The film looks like its going to be about 3 minutes and 18 seconds. And I'm getting good comments on it. Words like chaotic, energetic if I were to describe said words. I'm thrilled because it represents my animation style and personality. :)  I hope people enjoy it.

So yeah...Academy of Art's 3 week intercession is starting and I'm going to spend the entire period doing animation...EVERY SINGLE DAY. Okay maybe I'll take a saturday off. But a lot of work needs to be done for Super Fuzz. I need to weight paint all three characters and finish 1:30 seconds worth of 2nd phase animation by then. And I have to set up the lighting scheme for all the scenes. Sound impossible? Watch me do it. :)
